Movember
Movember… the month formerly known as November, is a fun charity event held during November each year to raise money for Prostate Cancer Research. At the start of Movember, guys register with a clean-shaven face. The Movember participants have the remainder of the month to grow and groom their moustache, raising money and awareness along the way. During the month of November, the DP Lawn & Tree Crew grows their mustaches to support the fight against prostate cancer! If you wish to show your support ask us how or visit www.movember.com.
BC Children’s Hospital
The BC Children’s Hospital is a special place for special patients. BC Children’s Hospital Foundation supports the people, places and things required to ensure BC’s kids have access to outstanding pediatric care. Since 1982, BC Children's Hospital Foundation has worked with children, families, caregivers and hundreds of thousands of British Columbians to give Children’s Hospital, and the Child & Family Research Institute the resources they need to excel. Through a wide range of fundraising events and opportunities, the Foundation is united with its donors by a single, simple passion - to improve the health and the lives of the young people who enter BC Children's Hospital every day. Wild Arc
The Wild Animal Rehabilitation Centre is operated by the BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. As the only wildlife rehabilitation centre on southern Vancouver Island, Wild ARC treats over 1,700 wild animals annually from throughout the region. Wild ARC's mission is to provide humane care to injured, orphaned, sick and distressed wildlife based on established rehabilitation standards and the animal's natural history.
